LEGAL NOTICE

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of www.madambo.pt (the “Site”). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.


2. Using the Site

The Site is here to tell you about our restaurants, menus, events and news. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use it unlawfully, try to gain unauthorised access to it, copy it with automated tools (scraping, bots) or interfere with how it works.


3. Menus, prices and opening hours

We keep menus, prices and opening hours up to date, but they can change without notice and the information in the restaurant prevails. Prices include VAT at the legal rate. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please tell our team before ordering: full allergen information is available in each restaurant.


4. Bookings, delivery and events

Table bookings are made through TheFork (Dumpling Bar) and SevenRooms (Katsu Sando & Sake Bar), and delivery orders through Glovo. These platforms apply their own terms and privacy policies, which you accept when you use them.


5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site – texts, photos, illustrations, logos, the Madam Bo name and brand – belongs to Flamingo Throne, Lda or its licensors and is protected by Portuguese and international law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our written permission.


6. Links to other websites

The Site links to third-party websites (booking and delivery platforms, Google Maps, Instagram and others). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.


7. Liability

We do our best to keep the Site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.


9. Complaints and dispute resolution

You can file a complaint in our Complaints Book, available in each restaurant and online at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.

In the event of a consumer dispute, you may contact the following alternative dispute resolution entity: CACCL – Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa, www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt. More information is available on the Consumer Portal, www.consumidor.gov.pt.


10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lisbon, without prejudice to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.


11. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date.
